Carrier Rooftop Package Units
Carrier units were designed by customers for customers. With a gauge plug, centralized control center, plug & play accessory board, “no-strip screw” collars, and handled access panels, we’ve made the unit easy to install, easy to maintain, and easy to use. Units are pre-wired and pre-charged with environmentally sound Puron® (R-410A) refrigerant at the factory. The units are factory tested in both heating and cooling modes.

Due to its innovative burner technology, its high-quality ceramic reflector insulation as well as the combination of the most varied materials, increasing the radiant characteristic of the tubes and reflection properties of the reflector, this heater is extremely energy-efficient and consumes up to 20% less energy as compared to infraSchwank. The function of the economizer is as its name implies, to “economize” or save on cooling costs. Obviously, it costs money to operate the compressor. If the compressor can be shut down and the system still provide adequate cooling, energy savings can be realized. Whenever the cooling system is calling for cooling and the temperature outside is cool enough it is economical to shut off the compressor and bring in cool outside air to satisfy the cooling needs of the building. Such is the function of an air economizer system.
